COMPANY HISTORY

Scottco African Safaris was founded in 1994. Operated by the owner, Jaco Scott, who grew up in South Africa and started hunting at a very young age.  Jaco has become one the most experienced big game hunters of modern times. Not only ethics are a high priority, but also the safety of all our clients. After many years Jaco Scott is still guiding safaris, together with a well trained group of Guides to give you the experience of a lifetime while on Safari in the "Dark Continent". Jaco Scott is passionate about conserving our natural resources for generations to come. 'Without hunters, there is no conservation.' Scottco African Safaris started out operating only in South Africa on the family owned Base Camp. Scottco African Safaris quickly grew to one of the leading Outfits in South Africa and we expanded to other regions to satisfy our clients' needs. Later, Scottco African Safaris expanded cross border to offer our clients 'big bame' in 'big areas'. We are proud to include countries like Zimbabwe, Botswana, Mozambique and Zambia on our Safari list. We also have very strong ties with a charter company, seeing Jaco Scott also is an ATP Pilot, which means we can fly you, the client, anywhere anytime.
